We use other venues during the year and these are announced in Writing Magazine and Writers' Forum advertisements as well as on our Website.  

All venues are excellent value for money.  They are set in pleasant gardens and offering modern amenities, en suite accommodation, good food and comfortable lecture rooms.

Our main UK Weekend venue, The Hayes Conference Centre, offeres up-to-date facilities, comfortable en suite rooms and plentiful varied menues.  There is a Bar and Coffee lounges.  The whole is set in delightful gardens, with walks and places to relax, meet friends and chat.

Comfortable Lecture Rooms are available to suit the size of the group.  There is plenty of time on the weekend to work hard on your writing and to socialise.

UK Weekends - The Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick, Alfreton, Derbyshire.  This is an ideal Centre for our Creative Writing Courses.  Set in beautiful gardens, it offers modern amenities, with plenty of parking near your en suite accommodation.

Holiday Courses in Spain:

Our courses are held at small, comfortable, family run Spanish hotels, holders of the Spanish Merit Awards for high standards of accommodation and well known for their regional cuisine.  The Hotels are set in spectacular surroundings in the Natural Park of Grazalema, about 2 hours drive from Malaga Airport.
 
Our City Hotel - 'Hotel California' in Malaga is a pleasant Family run Hotel near the beach and within walking distance of the historic old city of Malaga, the famous Bull Ring and Castle. They offer comfortable en suite rooms, and breakfast.  The groups goes out to local bars for lunch and to typical Spanish restaurants for dinner. Tours of the City and visits to the Pablo Picasso Art Gallery can be arranged.  The views from the Castle of the Mediterranean are superb. Lift available.
 
'El Molino del Santo' in Benaojan, near Ronda - is a converted old olive and flour watermill set high in the mountains of Andalucia, with beautiful gardens and swimming pool.  It is an excellent base from which to run our workshops. Mentioned in 'The Good Hotel Guide' it is a quality venue offering excellent amenities.
 
'La Casa de las Piedras' is a typical Spanish Rural Hotel in the heart of the Natural Park in the village of Grazalema.  A Spanish House with a central patio, colourful tiles and heavy studded front door and wrought iron balconies, it is a comfortable and friendly venue. Most of our walking holidays are based in Grazalema Village.
 
'Arco de la Villa' Hotel is a modern hotel clinging to the side of a mountain, over looking a turquoise lake, and with an Arabic Tower guarding the village.  It is a superb base for writers, painters and photographers. This hotel has a lift and bedrooms are all on one floor.
 
'Goyesca' Hotel is an old Arab House in the heart of Ronda, within minutes of the famous Bull Ring and Old and New Bridges spanning the famous Gorge.  Full of history, this venue is ideal for photographers, artists and an inspiration to writers. It has a central, delightful patio full of beautiful plants.
 
Hotel 'Royal' is a modern hotel in the centre of Ronda. It is in an ideal situation facing the park near the Bull Ring and within walking distance of the spectacular Gorge. This hotel has a lift.
